There are not many people who could simply show up for a photo session and come away with great photographs. That is why a planning session is included as a part of your portrait package. Your ideas and goals for your session are important, and we can also offer suggestions and ideas. We will share with you what kinds of clothes photograph best, items to bring from home, and how to get the most from your session.

This is a special time in your life, and these photographs should say something about you! We know that you are not fond of cheesy props. No one wants senior portraits that look like a catalog of some studio’s prop collection. That is why we like you to bring personal items from home...things define your senior year. It may be your car, letter jacket, drill team uniforms, band instruments, sports equipment, artwork, yearbook, awards, a best friend, pets, skis, golf clubs, roller blades, scuba gear, ice skates, team jerseys, or just about anything else you can think of!

Imagine...a session time is set aside just for you! No crowded waiting room... no trying to cram as many Seniors as possible into the day (you know - the “herd of cattle” syndrome)...no trying to get finished ASAP! We want to have plenty of time for you to make clothing changes and to get to the various locations that you might want to use. Quality photographs require a photographer who works in an unhurried atmosphere!

We use a number of outdoor locations depending on the look you want and the time of day that we are shooting. We listen to your suggestions! We can photograph seniors at the lake, at the ballpark, at the pool, and even with a plane! (They don’t call photographers “the World’s Greatest Storytellers” for nothing!) What’s your story?
